CA Sales locked in another excellent year. Datatec, Fairvest and especially Heriot are all growing. Sirius Real Estate announced more deals. Capital Appreciation has stemmed the software bleeding. Ascendis is now an investment entity.

Metair released its annual report - but there's a key disclosure that I just can't find. Metrofile has caught the eye of a potential buyer. Zeder is disposing of some African businesses. Bell Equipment tightened its earnings guidance.

Fairvest had no problem raising capital. Pepkor announced a major acquisition. Santova has also flagged a potential acquisition. Astoria, Barloworld and Oceana released difficult numbers. Master Drilling's dividend growth has distracted the market from impairments.

Investec's UK business dragged down the group numbers. Shaftesbury is selling part of its Covent Garden stake. Momentum had an exceptional period. Choppies is doing well and South Ocean Holdings certainly isn't.

ArcelorMittal is still winding down the long steel business. Sabvest had a particularly good year in 2024, with NAV growth well above recent averages.

There's a new sheriff in town at Absa - and it's Standard Bank's loss! MTN's gap between constant currency and reported earnings is still huge. RFG had trouble with pineapples. Hulamin had a poor year. Thungela released its 2024 results.
