Ghost Bites (BHP | Kore Potash | Spar | Woolworths)

BHP looks to China as a stabilising force for commodities. Kore Potash had an action-packed quarter. Spar tries to take some of the heat off the share price. Woolworths is continuing to deliver, online and otherwise.

Ghost Bites (Coronation | Distell | Nampak | Richemont | Steinhoff)

Coronation increased its AUM this quarter. Distell released updated numbers for Capevin and Gordon's Gin. Nampak's meeting was adjourned as planned. Richemont needs the reopening of China to stick. Steinhoff sold down the Pepco stake.

Ghost Bites (EOH | Kibo Energy | Ninety One | Schroder REIT | Spar)

EOH's rights offer is fully underwritten. Kibo looks to synthetic oil. Ninety One's AUM is flat for the quarter. Schroder's property values are lower. There are wholesale changes to the Spar board.

Ghost Bites (Merafe | Nampak | Omnia)

Merafe's production has taken a dip thanks to Eskom. There's something being packaged at Nampak and I'm not talking about the cans. Omnia has exited Umongo after the call option was exercised.

Ghost Bites (MTN | Murray & Roberts)

Having barely recovered from various nightmares in Nigeria, Ghana is now the big headache for MTN. Murray & Roberts has released the circular for the Bombela sale.

Ghost Bites (Mondi | Steinhoff – Pepco)

Mondi has completed the acquisition of the Duino mill in Italy. Pepco is performing very well in Europe, though margins are lagging because of the store rollout.

Ghost Bites (Steinhoff | Tharisa | Telkom)

With more bad news for Steinhoff, I can't believe anyone is buying it. Tharisa doesn't enjoy the rain. Neither does Telkom.

Ghost Bites (AYO | BHP | MAS | NEPI Rockcastle | Premier Fishing | Schroder | Transnet)

AYO gets fined again. BHP agrees a scheme implementation deed with OZ Minerals. MAS and NEPI Rockcastle released pre-close updates. Premier Fishing plays squid game. Schroder refinances debt. Transnet can't proofread
