Ghost Bites (Mediclinic | PPC | Spar | Tiger Brands | Woolworths)

Mediclinic's earnings are a mixed bag. I'm glad I gave up on Spar after seeing these results. I got it badly wrong on Tiger Brands. Woolworths continues a strong run.

Equites announces a R1.245bn deal with Shoprite for a new warehouse. Ninety One takes a knock to earnings. Renergen switches the LNG back on. There's another solid result from Stor-Age. Transaction Capital gives the market a scare.

Brait is giving Premier the wings to fly. Purple Group is profitable in a post-pandemic world. Shoprite gets some love from the market. Investors put the phone down on Telkom. Vodacom's corporate colours were reflected in the share price.

EO-eish: don't say I didn't warn you. Murray & Roberts gets some momentum in renewables. Richemont makes investors richer. The Foschini Group falls 7% despite solid results.

AVI inches forward despite tough conditions. MultiChoice invests heavily ahead of the FIFA World Cup. Purple Group is still profitable in a tough market. Sappi reports another record quarter. Transaction Capital is growing in the high teens.

Aspen closes a EUR1.26bn syndicated loan facility. Yamana Gold's board changes its recommendation and triggers the break fee. Hammerson's trading update looks promising. Murray & Roberts pops 17% on news of a sale of Clough. Redefine guides modest growth for FY23.

Gold Fields keeps a cool head. Invicta reports a solid jump in earnings. MultiChoice is ticking over. Quantum Foods warns of a sharp drop in profits. Raubex Group grows its earnings and dividend.
