GHOST BITES (Attacq | Cashbuild | Curro | Emira | Growthpoint | Old Mutual | Quilter | Spur | STADIO | Trellidor | Woolworths)

Woolworths released really disappointing numbers. Curro has a demand problem, but earnings are up for now. Attacq, Quilter, Spur and STADIO all had strong stories to tell. Trellidor and Growthpoint are on the up. Cashbuild and Old Mutual were less exciting. Emira sold a property portfolio.

GHOST BITES (Altron | Burstone | Cashbuild | Gemfields | Naspers – Prosus | Rainbow Chicken | Sasol | Stor-Age)

Naspers - Prosus set the hares running with news of the Just Eat acquisition. Sasol's results also got a lot of focus. Altron, Gemfields and Rainbow Chicken had positive news to share. Cashbuild is slightly up and Stor-Age is ticking over. Burstone is increasing exposure to Australian industrial properties.

GHOST BITES (Cashbuild | Sasol | Super Group)

Positive momentum continues at Cashbuild. The same definitely cannot said for Sasol, where they are struggling. Still, those problems pale in comparison to what Super Group is dealing with.

GHOST WRAP #82 (Clicks | Dis-Chem | The Foschini Group | Cashbuild)

In this retail-focused Ghost Wrap, I cover the recent numbers at Clicks, Dis-Chem and Cashbuild, along with the latest acquisition by The Foschini Group in the UK.

GHOST BITES (Afrimat | Anglo American / Amplats / Kumba | Cashbuild | Clicks | Datatec | Mantengu Mining | Nu-World | Spear REIT)

Clicks and Datatec released great numbers and the duo of Cashbuild and Nu-World are showing signs of better sentiment. In mining, look out for Afrimat and the Anglo group companies, along with Mantengu and a strange narrative. Spear REIT is also worth a read.

GHOST BITES (Bell Equipment | Coronation | Zeder)

Bell Equipment's weak second half will cause nerves among investors who missed out on the take-private offer. Coronation's B-BBEE deal is devoid of creativity. Zeder has flagged a worrying outlook.

Ghost Bites (Cashbuild | SPAR | Telkom | The Foschini Group | Woolworths)

On a very busy day for retail news, we saw generally poor news come in from SPAR, The Foschini Group and Woolworths, while Cashbuild reported numbers that the market knew would be tough.

Ghost Bites (Adcock Ingram | Cashbuild | Powerfleet | Sibanye)

Adcock Ingram's share repurchases have boosted HEPS. Cashbuild hopefully has the worst behind it now. Powerfleet has released an earnings update. Sibanye has funded the Keliber lithium project.
