Coronation seems happy with single digit growth. Old Mutual's key metrics are going in the right direction. RMB Holdings has given NAV guidance.

Shoprite's sales update was the news of the day, with Coronation, enX, Salungano and Vunani all releasing numbers. The Comp Comm has prohibited the Vodacom fibre deal with Remgro. Trematon released the Aria disposal circular.

Balwin and Pick n Pay are both suffering, the latter more than the former. Gold Fields finished a deal in record time. PPC seems to be on the up. Renergen finds itself in an awkward spot. Look out for Coronation, Delta Property Fund, Mantengu Mining and Southern Palladium as well.

Pick n Pay is still really struggling. The downturn at CMH is clear. Premier and PSG have shown strong growth. Look out for BHP, DRDGOLD, Insimbi, Mondi and NEPI Rockcastle as well.

Bell Equipment's weak second half will cause nerves among investors who missed out on the take-private offer. Coronation's B-BBEE deal is devoid of creativity. Zeder has flagged a worrying outlook.

Truworths released poor numbers. Something seems to be brewing at Finbond. Most of KAP's businesses are underperforming. Murray & Roberts and Northam Platinum gave themselves more balance sheet flexibility.

Absa has a change of management and headaches in Africa. Argent acquires a business in the UK. Aveng could break itself in half. Coronation is paying a dividend. Hulamin, MTN and Thungela also released numbers.
