Ghost Bites (Labat | Mantengu Mining | Marshall Monteagle | Naspers + Prosus | Shaftesbury | Spar)

It was a day of big and small on the JSE, with numbers from Naspers and Prosus accompanied by a variety of small cap updates. Look out for detailed numbers from Spar, for which you need a strong stomach.

On an exceptionally busy day of news, we saw updates from the HCI stable of companies, along with the likes of Life Healthcare and Southern Sun. There was so much company news, all here in one place.

Ghost Bites (Anglo American Platinum | Attacq | Curro | EOH | Italtile | Metrofile | Spear REIT | Transcend Residential Property Fund)

Amplats suffered a nasty drop in earnings. Attacq jumped on deal news. Curro's earnings are moving higher. EOH's rights offer is successful. Italtile signs off on a tough period. Metrofile invests in the Middle East. Spear sells the Liberty building. Transcend releases results.

Ghost Bites (Clicks | Growthpoint | Kaap Agri | Lewis | Mr Price | Southern Sun | Tsogo Sun Gaming)

Sorbet acquisition makes sense for Clicks. Growthpoint gears up for tourist season. Kaap Agri has another strong year. Lewis wins with buybacks. Mr Price punished by the market. Southern Sun is profitable. Tsogo Sun Gaming is still down on pre-Covid levels.
