Pick n Pay's losses remain stubbornly high, with reasons for investors to be concerned about this turnaround. iOCO is doing well these days and has given strong guidance. FirstRand took a 20.1% stake in Optasia. Astoria is adding its name to the list of companies that would prefer to build in private.

Sasol set tongues wagging with a production update and a sharp rally in the share price. Afrimat's share price also moved much higher thanks to positive momentum. Clicks released great numbers, while financial updates came through from 4Sight, Adcorp and Raubex as well. In deal news, ASP Isotopes is making an acquisition in the US and Labat Africa is selling the cannabis assets.

Famous Brands is up at group level, but the performance remains far too reliant on the manufacturing side of the business. Quilter's net inflows continue. Vunani has positive momentum. Salungano signed a coal supply agreement with Eskom.

ASP Isotopes is raising $210 million to take advantage of the jump in the share price. Vukile Property Fund is raising R2 billion for acquisitions. Karooooo released solid numbers. Exemplar REITail is buying two retail properties. Vunani's trading statement looks good.
